FILM AND TELEVISION PROJECT WORKSHOP
CALL FOR ENTRIES

The 25th Durban International Film Festival, which runs from 14-27 June, will feature a Film and Television Project Workshop, presented by the Sithengi Film & Television Market.

The workshop will focus on the development and financing of film and TV projects with a team of local and international experts offering training on the financing, production and development of feature film, documentaries and scripts. Practical skills, such as how to write treatments, prepare pitches and acquire television commissions will be taught.

Sithengi will present information on accessing the Sithengi Forum through the Feature Film Co-production Forum, the Documentary Co-production Forum and the Writers' Forum.

Dates for the workshop are 17 - 19 June.

People who are interested in participating in the workshop should present a 1-page synopsis and a 3-page treatment of their projects to:

The course is limited to 20 participants, so please ensure that your applications are submitted by 28 May.

Approximately 8 projects will be chosen to work through as case studies while the rest of the participants observe.
