Vision, Mission and Objectives Sithengi has redefined its vision, mission and objectives on the basis of its competitive analysis.
   
  The vision, mission and objectives outline Sithengi’s role as:
Being the premier site for encouraging the growth and development of the film, television and allied industries through trade in South Africa, Southern Africa and the rest of Africa.

Core Business Objective Sithengi’s core business objective is increasing trade and development in film, television and allied products in South Africa, Southern Africa and the rest of Africa.
   
  Sithengi has identified five business objectives to give expression to this role:
   

Have a dominant position controlling intelligence on the programming needs and operational conditions faced by broadcasters in South Africa, Southern Africa and Africa

Develop a strong intra-African network of industry professionals

To be a provider of platforms and programs to improve the attractiveness of South African, Southern African and African product for international consumption

To be the leading showcase for South African, Southern African and African products for international consumption

Establish Sithengi as a commercially sustainable organisation

   
Core Competence To meet its core business objective, Sithengi will develop a core competence in competitive intelligence and relationship brokering.
