Alexei and the Spring
Alexei and the Spring is a wonderful gem. This gentle Japanese film charts the seasons of a small, vital community that still lives off the land within the contamination zone of Chernobyl. Their life-force is the miraculous, pure waters of their spring, which remained uncontaminated by the fallout in 1986.
What did you think of this movie?
Have your say.
Apparently this was really really good...

Utterly Fantastic!I have a large collection of Russian Impressionist paintings, and it was as if the landscapes and people melted off the canvases and came alive in this film! How can I get my hands on a copy of this film?

I can't find words to describe this documentary film. I can say only one thing, "There should be more people like Motohashi Seiichi in this world!" I wish him the best in his directing career and hope he directs more films like "Alexei and the Spring."
P.S. If there is a copy of this film please let me know, so I can show my friends and relatives what a great film it is.
Sincerely,
Joseph Nazaryan
