Call for Entries: Film submissions for the Cape Town World Cinema Festival
Sithengi invites you to submit films for the Cape Town World Cinema Festival, 12 - 20 November 2004.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 30 AUGUST 2004

There is no entry fee.
The Cape Town World Cinema Festival aims to showcase African and more specifically South African films in the context of other “International Independent or World Cinema” films. The Cape Town World Cinema Festival occurs at the same time as the Sithengi Film and TV Market, which will take place from the 16th to the 19th of November 2004 at the Artscape Complex, Cape Town.
We accept entries in the categories: feature films, documentaries and short films. Through the promotion of top quality international films, we hope to simultaneously place value on African films.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
• The Lionel Ngakane Newcomer Award
• Best Feature Film
• Best Documentary
• Best Short Film
• Best Director
• Best Writer
• Best Actress
• Best Actor
• Signis Jury Prize
• Amade Jury Prize
