The Cape Town World Cinema Festival (CTWCF) will once again showcase the latest international, African and South African films in its programme this year. The focus is on world cinema and more specifically, films from the south. The programme consists of features, documentaries and short films.
For consideration in this year's film festival selection, please submit your viewing tapes on VHS PAL and DVD with completed official application form. Once the selection has been done we will inform you, and you would then be expected to submit films on 35mm print or BetaSP.

Regulations
- Film entry is free
- Films must be submitted in their original language. Films in English may be submitted without subtitles, but films in another language should be subtitled
- For each film selected the festival must receive detailed Electronic Press Kits (EPK's) and other documentation, including a synopsis of the film, a biography and complete filmography of the director as well as stills from the film and a recent photograph of the director
- Producers and Distributors are expected to send promotional and publicity material i.e. posters, press-kits, postcards and video clips of the film.
- VHS tapes are only returned if the sender requests them
- Films must have been produced between 2003 and 2006 and preference will be given to World, African or South African premieres
